Positions & P&L

Viewing Your Positions

On the Dashboard

When you hold a position, the row shows:

  • Your P&L in green (profit) or red (loss)

  • A red SELL button with your position value

  • The position replaces the BUY button

On the Detail Page

The Edge panel shows:

  • x[shares] — how many shares you own

  • Position value — current value in USD

  • P&L — unrealized profit or loss

  • Estimated fee — the fee you'd pay if you sell now

Trade History

Click "History" in the header to see all your past trades, including:

  • Entry and exit prices

  • P&L per trade

  • Timestamps

How P&L is Calculated

  • Entry Price = the price you paid per share when buying

  • Current Market Price = the latest Polymarket price

  • P&L updates in real-time as the market price moves

$0.49 each

Cost

$49.00

Current market price

Claiming Resolved Positions

When a market expires and resolves:

  • Winning positions are worth $1.00 per share

  • Losing positions are worth $0.00

To claim your winnings:

  1. A Claim badge appears next to your wallet address when you have claimable positions

  2. Click Claim in the wallet dropdown — this redirects you to Polymarket where the actual claim transaction is processed

  3. Once claimed, the USDC is returned to your Polygon wallet

You can also claim directly on polymarket.comarrow-up-right under your portfolio.

Entry Price Tracking

Your entry prices are stored in your browser's localStorage. This is important to understand:

  • P&L is calculated locally — no server stores your trade history

  • If you clear your browser data, entry prices are lost and P&L display resets

  • Using incognito/private mode or a different browser/device will not show your P&L

  • If you trade the same market from Polymarket directly, the entry price here may not match

Your actual positions and funds are always safe on-chain regardless of localStorage. Only the P&L display is affected — you can always check your real positions on polymarket.comarrow-up-right.
